No. April is a strictly non-sexual social companion and event plus-one service. We accompany clients to public events as composed company — never as a dating, escort, sugar, or intimate service.
Yes, without exception. Every booking is non-sexual and takes place in a public venue. This is the foundation of how April works, and it is non-negotiable for clients and plus-ones alike.
No — April is open to everyone, men and women alike. The wish for good company at an occasion you'd rather not attend alone doesn't belong to one gender. Our clients are men and women, and so are our April plus-ones.
Yes. April is run by a UK-registered company, April Companions Ltd (company no. 17299109) — you can verify us on Companies House. Every booking has formal vetting, clear written terms, and payment agreed in advance. If you'd like to see our registration or speak to us before enquiring, we're glad to arrange it.

There is no application fee, no joining fee and no subscription. Every package price is published in full on our prices page, starting at £595 for a three-hour Private Evening. Travel, tickets, meals and accommodation are quoted separately. Everything is agreed and paid in advance, never in cash, and nothing is confirmed until you have had a private call and met your proposed plus-one by video.
Identity and age verification keep the service safe and trustworthy for everyone. We confirm photo ID and address before approving booking, and store these documents securely with restricted access.
Adults who have applied to April, passed our vetting, and agreed to our terms — welcomed for how they are with people, not how they look. We look for genuine good company: warm, curious, reliable, discreet, and at ease in a room they haven't been in before. All ages and backgrounds. We don't accept everyone who applies, and no one is paid to perform — they are simply there to be good company and to put you at ease.
Clients are identity checked and approved before they can book. April plus-ones go through a separate written application, reference checks, and — where it helps — a short introductory call before they join. We don't put strangers together without knowing something meaningful about both people.
We are not. April was founded by Vierka Hiscock, who you will find named and pictured on our About page and speaking on our social channels. We were cautious about names at the very beginning, because discretion is the whole point of the service — but discretion is something we owe our clients, not something we get to hide behind ourselves. April Companions Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17299109, and anyone can verify it.
You are welcome to share the kind of company and atmosphere you have in mind, and we will do our best to match thoughtfully — always within our boundaries and with the comfort of both clients and plus-ones in mind.
Yes. Discretion is central to April. We handle your information privately and securely, and we never share client details. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.
No. All bookings take place in public venues, and first bookings never begin in a private home or hotel room. This is a firm boundary that keeps the service comfortable and safe.
Every booking has an agreed start and finish time. An April plus-one may end a booking immediately if a boundary is crossed or they feel unsafe. For ordinary changes of plan, our cancellation terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
Where possible, please give a week or more for most events, and longer for weddings. We will always tell you honestly what is achievable for your date.
Yes. Light evening planning is part of the service — venue suggestions, timings and a relaxed plan so the night flows smoothly. We agree all the details with you in advance.
