House rules

Safety, boundaries & how we work.

Clear, simple boundaries are what make every booking calm and enjoyable — for companions and members alike. Here is how April works, stated plainly.

What we do
  • Accompany you as a plus-one to public events — dinners, theatre, concerts, weddings, parties, work functions and social occasions.
  • Help shape the evening: venue suggestions, timings and a relaxed plan so the night flows.
  • Offer warm, intelligent company so you never attend an important event alone.
What we do not do
  • We do not offer, arrange, imply or permit sexual services of any kind.
  • We do not provide a "girlfriend experience", sugar arrangements, allowances or private intimate relationships.
  • We do not attend first bookings in private homes or hotel rooms.
  • We do not provide personal care, medical support or any regulated care activities.

Bookings are about attending public events with you, in a professional and respectful way. That is the whole of the service.

Eligibility & checks
  • Members must be aged 30 or over.
  • We verify photo ID and address before accepting anyone.
  • We require a valid email address and mobile number.
  • We accept bookings only from approved members — no anonymous enquiries.
  • We may decline membership or any booking at our discretion.
Booking rules
  • Every booking has a specific date, time and public venue.
  • First bookings are always in public places — never private homes or hotel rooms.
  • Each booking has a defined start and finish time; nothing is open-ended.
  • Fees are paid in advance through approved methods. We do not accept cash.
  • Travel beyond the South West may involve extra planning and fees.
Conduct

Kindness and respect, always.

Members agree that they will:

  • Treat companions with respect at all times.
  • Not request, suggest or pressure for sexual contact or private intimacy.
  • Not make inappropriate comments about bodies, sex or relationships.
  • Not use drugs or become heavily intoxicated during a booking.
  • Respect time boundaries and let companions leave at the agreed finish time.

Any attempt to negotiate "extras", to ask "what happens after" in a sexual way, or to insist on private rooms or intimacy will end the booking, and membership will be reviewed or terminated.

Zero tolerance

Companion safety comes first.

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, threats, stalking or any form of abuse.

Ending bookings

We may end a booking and/or membership immediately if a member:

  • breaches our non-sexual policy;
  • refuses to respect physical or verbal boundaries;
  • becomes aggressive, intimidating or threatening;
  • refuses to pay agreed fees, or attempts to hold a companion in a venue;
  • repeatedly ignores rules after warnings.

In serious cases, we may share information with venues or relevant authorities.

Privacy & discretion
  • We collect only what we genuinely need to provide the service and keep people safe.
  • We store identity documents and booking notes securely, with restricted access.
  • We do not sell member or companion data to third parties.
  • We keep incident and safety notes only as long as necessary, then delete them.

Our full Privacy Policy sets this out in detail.

If you are unsure about a boundary.

If you are ever unsure whether something is appropriate, assume no — and ask us in advance. Our aim is to help you enjoy occasions comfortably and safely. Clear boundaries are what make April calm, professional and genuinely enjoyable for everyone involved.

Comfortable with how we work?

Membership is limited and carefully vetted. If our approach feels right for you, we would be glad to hear from you.
